NYC Deconstructed Loft

Tannaz's amazing deconstructed loft we stayed in, in NYC.

This New York excursion was especially special as a group of us came together from around the US for one of our best friend's 30th birthday celebration whom we rarely get to see because she lives in Zurich, Switzerland. Nadine and I stayed in this beautifully crafted loft she found through airbandb.

This place is by far the coolest place I have ever stayed. Especially in NY with its spaciousness! The thought put into this space boggles my mind. Every surface is interesting and every item is unique and different - from the metal window shades to the taxidermy to the vintage sofas, chairs, bed frames and lamps, i would never leave home if i lived here.

TENOVERSIX, Tavi Gevinson, Wren line 2012

The other weekend I went to TENOVERSIX's party for the release of the fall 2012 collection of locally based clothing line Wren. In conjunction with showing select pieces from their awesome new line (my fave were the beige, high wasted, elastic waistband, cropped, silky slacks), they showed their video "Beware of Young Girls" featuring iconic fashion blogger,singer,muse,and model, Tavi Gevinson. She was there and it was an honor to meet her. TenOverSix's blog posted the article depicting the event and who wore what to the party.
